Leveraging superb writing skills and 15 years of executive-level branding and media relations experience, Stephen thrives on tailoring communications campaigns to meet the specific business focus of each CAROUSE client. As President and founder of CAROUSE, he has led several award-winning marketing communications campaigns, and offers specialized knowledge in a wide array of sectors from B2B enterprise technology applications through to consumer-focused online branding initiatives. Stephen oversees the quality and execution of all CAROUSE client programs and leads the agency’s media coaching, brand messaging and issues management function.
Stephen started his career at a multinational PR firm, Cohn & Wolfe, then went on to a co-found MAVERICK PR, before following his entrepreneurial urge to create CAROUSE Communications. He has conducted branding and marketing programs for dozens of organizations during his career, including TD Bank, Symantec, Deloitte, ING DIRECT, Mabel’s Labels, BBDO Proximity Canada, Ministry of Research and Innovation, gShift Labs, and Juniper Networks. Along with his role at CAROUSE, he is on the Advisory Board of Pug Pharm, a pioneer in using gamification to increase social community engagement. He lives in Roncesvalles Village in Toronto with his wife and two children. He serves as a board member of the Garden Avenue School Daycare.
